In Ghouls on the Go!, you play as the underappreciated minions of an insufferable Necromancer. Together, you will unite with your fellow undead brethren in an attempt to steal as much loot as you can from the Necromancer’s Crypt before they return home.

The end goal: securing enough valuable goodies so that you can finally have the afterlife that you deserve.

This is a simple TTRPG that works best as a comedic one-shot. Using a simple d6 system, players will create undead minions with unique traits while the Keeper of the Crypt will use a deck of cards to randomly generate the dungeon and challenges.

Together as a group, the players will combine their unique traits to overcome these randomly created obstacles, all in the hopes of stealing enough stuff so that they can have the true afterlife that they deserve.

  • a handful of d6s
  • a deck of cards
  • 3+ friends
  • a digital or physical version of the game
  •  the undead minions character sheets
  • 45+ minutes
Ghouls on the Go! was created for The Worst Game Jam 3!

this is SO delightful!! I love the mechanic of gaining and losing traits, that's so chaotic and whimsical

This looks brilliant. Will need a chance to play it but I love the presentation and especially the sense of humour both in the writing and how it's baked into how the game itself is played. I loved reading it and look forward to playing it :)
